Can't experience the snowy scenes of the north? No worries—Guangzhou has its own version of a "winter wonderland"!

Since November, the city has been transformed by the stunning bloom of floss silk trees (Ceiba insignis), painting the streets with their delicate beauty. At the Shipai campus of South China Normal University (SCNU), the white floss silk trees are in full bloom, creating cascades of pure white blossoms. From afar, the trees appear as though draped in snow, their branches laden with ethereal white petals.
 

 
Beyond the snowy white blossoms, pink varieties are also bursting into bloom, painting the campus in romantic hues. These breathtaking scenes have drawn crowds of visitors to capture the beauty of this fleeting moment.
