In recent years, an increasing number of outstanding Chinese films, TV dramas, and documentaries have been produced in foreign language versions, "sailing" to the South Pacific island nations. These programs have been well-received by local audiences, becoming a window for them to learn about China.

9月27日，广东广播电视台和斐济玛宜电视台联合举办的《中国剧场》开播六周年暨《今日广东》开播四周年及《湾区周刊》开播仪式活动在斐济首都苏瓦举行。通过广东广播电视台的优质节目，斐济观众不仅看到了当代中国人的生活状态，也感受到中华文化的魅力，一步步了解真实的中国。

On Sept. 27th, the sixth anniversary of "China Theater" and the fourth anniversary of "Canton Today" as well as the launching ceremony of "GBA Weekly", jointly produced by Guangdong Radio and Television and Mai TV of Fiji was held in Suva of Fiji.
