As Guangzhou’s Nansha District continues to position itself as a vital gateway for international trade, its strategic role in deepening ties with Africa is gaining momentum.
The Port of Nansha, one of the largest and most advanced ports in South China, has become a key player in fostering trade between China and the African continent. With 25 shipping routes to Africa, the Port of Nansha is considered a significant passage to and from the African market.
The Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, held last week, has upgraded bilateral ties, with ambitious plans to boost trade and connectivity between China and African countries. With its ease of access to the continent, the Port of Nansha is expected to play an even bigger role.
